CropClean

CropClean is an effective organic antibacterial solution for vegetables and fruits post harvest. Fruits and vegetables treated with CropClean look as if they had been harvested recently. CropClean significantly reduces harmful bacteria and fungi, and cleans the fruits and vegetables of external dirt and residues.

How to use CropClean
Because of all the different processing systems used, it is difficult to give a detailed description of how to use CropClean. What is most important is that CropClean has to be diluted in water, and that the spray solution cover the fruits and vegetables completely for at least 1 minute, but preferably longer (up to 5 minutes for best result).

This can be done either through a bath where the fruits or vegetables will be immersed completely, or by using a sprinkler installation. When using a sprinkler installation it is important that the fruits and vegetables can rotate so that the product will be completely covered with the spray solution.

Recommended rates
– CropClean can be used to clean vegetables like avocados, peppers and cucumbers, as well as other (hard)fruits.
– CropClean can be used in organic cultivation and vegetable and fruit preparation industries.
– Make a solution of 1:400 for normal filthiness, and 1:200 for heavy filthiness.
– Dip the vegetables or fruits 1-5 minutes in the solution, depending on the filthiness.
– Rinsing not necessary.

Remarks
– Extra filthy fruits and vegetables cannot be cleaned by any solution. For heavy filthiness only a brush is effective.
– Aerated solution cannot be inhaled and avoid contact with the eyes and skin.
– Store CropClean frost free, cool and dark.
