2025 at Hortus: What a Year!

As 2025 comes to a close, we look back and smile at everything that happened. From exciting new customers to big milestones and celebrations, it has been a year full of energy, growth, and plenty of memorable moments. We are proud to share some of the highlights of the past 12 months:

Global presence: Hortus Supplies in the spotlight

We welcomed more than 50 new customers worldwide, across the globe. Yes, 50+ new relations who trust us to help their crops thrive. We have supplied them with fertilizers, full container loads of Coco Peat and Natural Crop Care, like Supramino! And we did not stop there: we added customers in two new countries, spreading the Hortus expertise even further.

Our logistics teams achieved a major operational milestone by shipping more than 400 containers worldwide. These included fertilizers, cultivation supplies, and also combination container shipments from the Netherlands to our customers and partners across revery continent of the world.

Celebrating people and milestones

2025 was a year of celebration:

• 20 years of Hortus Supplies International! With almost the entire Hortus team in Porto, we had a fantastic weekend celebrating all we have accomplished togheter over the past two decades.
• Two of our colleagues celebrated their 10‑year anniversaries at Hortus, marking long‑standing dedication and expertise within our organization.
• To keep growing, we welcomed four new team members to Hortus, bringing fresh energy and ideas to our great team.

Vitalitas Program – make crops thrive worldwide

Our Vitalitas Program and products continues to gain succes in 2025. Growers around the globe are discovering the benefits of solutions like Supramino, X‑Hance, and BioCarb, They experience how these natural biostimulants enhance vitality, resilience, and performance across a wide range of crops.

We currently have multiple active product trials with customers, testing Vitalitas products in real-world conditions to improve crop vitality, growth, and resilience. These trials are helping us develop effective and sustainable crop solutions that growers can trust.

Worldwide Exhibitions and new connections.

Hortus went on the road in 2025, connecting in‑person with partners and growers across the globe. Our teams participated in 9 industry exhibitions, like the Greentech in Mexico and The Netherlands, Naivasha Fair in Kenya and ProFlora in Colombia.
We were present on five of the seven continents!

• Asia
• North America & Canada
• South America
• Africa

These events gave us the chance to meet growers, share knowledge, and showcase our latest horticulture innovations in person. Like the Tifone VRP 1000 Spray Machine. We displayed the machine at the Greentech Amsterdam in June and organised a demonstration for our customers and other interested realations in November of this year.

Giving Back: Supporting communities and charities

At Hortus, we believe in giving back. In 2025, we donated to various charities, including our favorite initiative last year “Wie jarig is, trakteert”. A great Dutch tradition to treat when its your birthday, instead of just receiving gifts. We kicked of in Janyaury by supporting The Ronald Moerings Foundation and Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Foundation in their feight against cancer. Supporting communities and celebrating special moments is part of who we are.

2025 has been a year of growth, innovation, and global connections for Hortus Supplies International. As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited to continue helping growers worldwide with our fertilizers, crop support products, and Vitalitas Program, while expanding our global network and making a positive impact.
