Virba-San

Vibra-San is a stable product composed of biodegradable potassium monopersulfate, acids and surfactants. this makes it a sustainable solution that can deliver powerful results, while not compromising biosecurity.

How does it work
Virba-San’s powerful antimicrobial activity is due to the oxidising properties of potassium monopersulfate. When dissolved in water, it produces radicals that effectively target organic structures such as microorganisms’ membranes. Due to the surfactants in the formula, the oxidising agents’ activity is enhanced by making microbial cells more permeable. Additionally, they dissolve dirt and grease. The acids are added to lower the pH, remove rust and lime scale. Once Virba-San is active, the solution turns pink, providing easy visual control.

Application Areas
Surfaces& equipment
– Virba-San disinfects equipment and surfaces through spraying or immersion.
Foot baths
– Vibra-San is highly reactive, making it ideal for foot baths to prevent disease spread in the greenhouse. The pink color of the dissolved product (active fades after degradation of the product into natural compounds (non-active). This allows easy monitoring of the active substance, and determining when to replace the product.
Vehicles and wheels
– Proper disinfection of vehicles and wheels with Vibra-San prevents the spread of deseases from outside to inside.
