You will have the opportunity to work as an account manager at one of the nicest companies in the agricultural sector. This is a challenging position with the prospect of permanent employment. Several times a year, you will travel to our foreign customers to bring our products and services to their attention. You will work in an enthusiastic team within a dynamic and growing organisation.

As an Account Manager, your job will be to take care of your own customers and regularly travel to visit them in other countries. You’ll help increase sales from our current customers and bring in new ones. Our Backoffice team will support you with administrative tasks and other commercial activities, so we can achieve our business goals together. You’ll report your successes to the Area Manager.

Your main tasks in this role will be:

  • Building and maintaining business relationships
  • Understanding customer needs and turning them into orders
  • Increasing sales with existing and new products
  • Gathering important market information
  • Keeping accurate records, including appointments/contracts, emails, quotes, etc.
  • Working with the Backoffice team to process quotes, orders, and deliveries
  • Participating in national and international trade shows
  • Keeping your knowledge up to date

You’ll do this not only from the Netherlands but also by visiting customers worldwide several times a year.

Who are you and what do you bring to the table?

As an Account Manager, it’s important that you’re good at communicating, organized, resilient, and customer-focused. You’re determined to achieve your goals.

  • You have at least a medium-level vocational education (MBO+);
  • Demonstrable commercial experience;
  • Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written. Knowing other languages is a plus, as we operate worldwide;
  • Experience in the agriculture industry is a plus, as well as an affinity with the green sector;
  • You have a driver’s license.
